As the Sun Comes Up

Daybreak Duology, Book 2

When Cricket Sterling asks if she can stay a night at Moriah Becker’s place in Boston, Mo doesn’t hesitate to say yes, but when Cricket’s Bed & Breakfast awards ceremony gets pushed four days, Moriah starts to panic. With her post-pandemic agoraphobia, OCD, and odd hours, she knows she’s difficult to live with, if only for the weekend, and she’s sure Cricket will be scared away.

When the woman not only stays but accommodates, learns how she stirs her coffee, locks her door, and only lights candles under the kitchen fan, Moriah starts to think she might be in trouble. Cricket is clever and beautiful, outgoing and funny, and Mo hasn’t known someone she’s felt fluttery feelings without attached deep-seated anxiety in years. When they fall into bed together, Moriah knows she’s screwed.

After the four days are up, Cricket will return to Caerlloyd and Moriah will remain in Boston, lonely and nearly home-bound. That is, unless she doesn’t want to let go after the weekend is up— but will her mental blocks keep her from having a good thing?

Blurb not final.
